A forthcoming Greek mythology-inspired video game titled “Gods & Monsters” has been revealed.
The French company Ubisoft previewed the game (see video below) at its most recent E3 conference, which showed detailed visuals of the game.
“Gods & Monsters” is being created by the same developers of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, the most recent — and also Greek mythology-inspired — installment of the highly-successful video game series.
The new game has been called an “epic journey through the fantastical world of Greek mythology,” in which players embark on a quest to save the Greek gods.
A description of the game says: “In Gods & Monsters, players embody Fenyx, a forgotten hero on a quest to restore power to the Greek gods after it was stolen by Typhon, the deadliest creature in Greek mythology.”
The description follows: “Players will explore the Isle Of The Blessed and prove their heroism as they face dangerous mythological creatures, including fearsome Gorgons and Harpies and mighty Cyclopes.
“Gifted with special powers from the gods of Olympus, players must overcome treacherous dungeons, challenging trials and perform heroic feats on their journey to save the gods.”
“Gods & Monsters” will release on February 25, 2020.
