The city of Athens lit up its City Hall building in Kotzia Square with the colors of the German flag in solidarity with the people of Berlin, following a truck attack at a Christmas market there.
A dozen people were killed in the attack and almost 50 were injured.
This isn’t the first time the New York City-born mayor of Athens, Giorgos Kaminis, has lit up the building in solidarity with victims of terror attacks.
In November of 2015 the building was lit up in the colors of the French flag after terror attacks in Paris.
A few weeks ago, City Hall was lit in a bright red, the colors of the Turkish flag, following the suicide bomber attacks there.

Athens is a very good city of Greece, both Ancient Greece and Current Daily Greece! Live for ever! Turkey admires Greece so much!
