One man with four hundred of the most powerful women in the world— all in one place. Billionaire Warren Buffet jokes about the experience. “400 women. One guy. Life is good,” Buffet said at the annual Fortune Magazine “Most Powerful Women” summit in Laguna Niguel, California today.

Buffet joined Chelsea Clinton, General Motors CEO Mary Barra; J.P. Morgan Asset Management CEO Mary Callahan Erdoes, US Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker and dozens of other powerful women from across the United States.

Greek power was prevalent at the conference as well, with Chef Maria Loi participating in the conference’s Organic Bites and Flights program, which provided food for the three-day summit. Loi, a New York chef and entrepreneur and native of Greece— and author of the book The Greek Diet, published by Harper Collins and released today at the conference, was amongst the top female US chefs selected to participate in the three-day summit.

Speaking to Loi, Buffet said: “You do the same thing a male will do,” he says. “You follow your passions. You find something you love. The truth is, so few people really jump on their jobs, you really will stand out more than you think. You will get noticed if you really go for it.”

Buffet was referring to the male dominated culinary world and applauded Loi— not before snatching a copy of her new book— released at the conference on its publication date.
