$250,000 in Scholarships Now Available; Applications Open for American Undergraduate Students

The Chicago-based PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation is currently accepting applications from eligible Greek American undergraduate students from any accredited American college or university. To date, the Foundation has awarded over $2 million in scholarship awards to hundreds of students from across the nation. With the cost of college tuition rising each year, students and their families are faced with tough decisions regarding their higher education and the PHSF, founded by Chicago businessman and philanthropist Chris Tomaras is helping many families cope.

Scholarship Awards are offered at two levels: Twenty Awards of $10,000 each based on academic achievement and financial need will be awarded, as will twenty awards of $2,500 each based solely on academic achievement.

Awards are offered to recognize and reward students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance, as well as provide meaningful support to those with serious financial need. By recognizing the achievements of highly performing students, the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation encourages those with potential to become significant achievers and contributors to society. The winners will receive their awards at the Foundation’s gala on June 20, 2015 in Chicago.
