Different regions of Greece celebrate Holy Week and Pascha celebrations in different ways but one community, that of Evangelistria on the island of Chios takes this year’s prize for “celebratory” First Resurrection services. Already an internet sensation from years past, Fr. Christophoros is beloved for his method in declaring the coming resurrection of Christ that Orthodox Christians will celebrate later that night. He didn’t disappoint this year.
