Delta passengers flying into Greece will have more options for domestic flights following the announcement of an agreement between the U.S. airline and Greek carrier SKY Express.
The agreement will offer passengers the opportunity to enjoy seamless travel with a single ticket between points of the networks of both carriers.
Delta passengers flying from North America on one of its daily nonstop services to Athens, can now connect to one of the 34 unique destinations across Greece operated by SKY express, including Chania, Chios, Mykonos and Thessaloniki.
“With one of the youngest and greenest fleets and an unrivaled network, this arrangement with Delta will allow customers across the US to connect to the magical charm of the Greek islands,” SKY express Commercial Director Yiannis Lidakis said.
Greece’s popularity with American travelers continues to grow, which has led to Delta offering a record number of flights between the U.S. and Athens this summer, including services from Atlanta, Boston and New York-JFK.
“Greece is one of the most sought-after destinations this summer for American travelers and with trade and tourism flows increasing between our countries, Delta’s partnership with SKY express gives our customers more versatility when it comes to planning the perfect Greek getaway,” said Perry Cantarutti, Delta’s senior vice president Alliances.
