No stranger to awards, Composer Alexandre Desplat won the award for Best Original Score for “The Shape of Water” at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night.
Desplat, a nine-time nominee who won in 2007 for “The Painted Veil,” as well as an Oscar for 2014’s “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” spoke to reporters backstage after the awards ceremony.
In a question from the Greek Reporter’s Tasos Papapostolou, Desplat, whose mother is Greek, spoke about the influences of his Greek heritage.
