This clip is certain to make the year-end wrap ups of countless “blooper” television news shows with reporters being blown away by heavy winds or slipping up and cursing on live TV.
But this clip is better… it’s about pure love. A pig, in love, to be exact, that won’t let go of Greek news reporter Lazos Mantikos, who was just trying to report about the storms hitting Greece.
As Mantikos attempts to speak to his colleagues on the air, the pig chases him around, ramming its head into his legs.
The clip of the pig in love with Mantikos has gone viral with tens of thousands of views on Twitter and dozens of international news outlets sharing it on their own news portals.
Veteran news anchor Giorgos Papadakis tried his best on his show Kalimera Ellada (Good Morning Greece) to maintain a sense of calm and professionalism on air— while Mantikos is being chased. But he and his co-anchors could not contain their laughter as their friend on the big screen continued to be pursued by the enamored swine.
