Greece’s Public Power Corporation (PPC) Group and Georgetown University have announced a strategic alliance to establish a new higher education institution in Greece.
The partners have formally submitted an application to the Hellenic Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports to launch “Georgetown University Greece,” with classes scheduled to begin in the fall semester of 2026.
The PPC Group will be the sole corporate partner, while Georgetown University will have exclusive authority over all academic matters, including curriculum design and student admissions.
Initially, the prestigious US institution is scheduled to offer two of its most popular postgraduate programs tailored for Greek senior executives and working professionals.
These include an Executive Master’s in Leadership through the McDonough School of Business, and later an M.S. in Environment and Sustainability Management, co-developed with the university’s Earth Commons Institute.
Courses will be conducted in English in Athens, concluding with an intensive residency and graduation ceremony in Washington, D.C..
