Archbishop Demetrios of America Follows in the footsteps of his Predecessor 50 Years Later and Marches in Selma, Alabama

Fifty years after Greek Orthodox Archbishop Iakovos of America made history, marching alongside Martin Luther King Jr. in Selma, Alabama during some of the most critical moments in the American Civil Rights movement, his contemporary– Archbishop Demetrios of America returned to Selma, participating in commemorative events marking the 50th anniversary of the historic events.
