Famed Mykonos Club Scorpios Landing in Neighboring Bodrum

One of Greece’s most iconic summer clubs, Scorpios, is set for global expansion, establishing two new locations in addition to its flagship base in Mykonos. The globally-recognized brand will open a new site in Bodrum, Türkiye in 2024, later followed by an opening in Tulum, Mexico.

Situated on a lush 75,000m² peninsula on Türkiye’s Aegean coast, Scorpios Bodrum will comprise two restaurants, a clubhouse and Scorpios’ signature beach club. The property will also be home to two brand firsts: a Ritual Space – a multidisciplinary setting for ancient healing methods and immersive cultural practices – as well as 12 private suites, each with their own outdoor pool and lounge area. The launch will mark Scorpios’ first venture into accommodation offerings.

Scorpios Bodrum will host a 3-day grand opening weekend beginning on June 14, 2024.

The design of each Scorpios property celebrates traditional craftsmanship, infused with influences from the local culture and landscape. The new property will be co-created by architecture studio Geomim, with interiors by Lambs and Lions, in collaboration with Annabell Kutucu and Studio MacBride.

Music is an important part of the experience offered at Scorpios Bodrum. Each week, a diverse line-up of live artists and performers entertain guests, including a residency from Turkish act Valeron and his band on Wednesdays, a night of new Latin American artists on Thursdays, and a showcase of the best local Turkish acts and DJs on Saturday nights. Fridays and Sundays are reserved for Scorpios’ famous Ritual, just as in Mykonos. These gatherings draw a roster of acclaimed and recognised artists and DJs, as well as some of the week’s biggest crowds.

The Bodrum outpost will feature a wealth of cultural programming and a revolving artist residency in collaboration with the brand’s music label, Scorpios Music. Food and beverage at the site meanwhile is aligned with the brand’s signature culinary concept, weaving in inspiration from the Eastern Mediterranean with local Turkish influences.

Signature dishes include Ezme, Minced Lamb Kebabs and Cig Kofte, made with bulgar. There’s also a selection inspired by Turkey’s street-food culture, such as Turkish Pita, Simit – sesame bagels – and Ariani, a refreshing yoghurt-based drink. There are plenty of vegan and raw options available, too.

“Scorpios has always created inspirational experiences through rituals that unite human connection with art, music and nature,” says Thomas Heyne, co-founder of Scorpios. “In these deep moments of togetherness, we lift each other’s spirits. This is what makes the Scorpios experience so energizing and enriching.”
