Greece has launched a new campaign aimed at attracting more travelers to the country, despite authorities already expecting a record season for tourism.
“Greece: You Will Want to Stay Forever” is the central theme in a new campaign for Greek tourism, launched by the Greek National Tourism Organization on Monday.
A video for the campaign features Otto, a man from Austria who tells his story of ending up in Greece, along with a backdrop of stunning images from the Greek islands.
The video was produced by leading Greek advertising agency Oglivy, while the campaign itself is supported by the Onassis Foundation.
Meanwhile, a new report released by the European Travell Commission (ETC) has found that travelers from the most significant non-European markets are choosing Greece as their favorite vacation destination for this year.
The study was focused on travel intentions of travelers from the United States, Canada, China, Japan, Russia and Japan.
