One of Canada’s biggest importers and distributors of Greek food and wine will literally, open their warehouses up to the public at its first ever Portfolio Tasting, taking place on Wednesday, April 11th.
More than 60 wines and spirits will be represented with many of Greece’s top wineries sending representatives, including Stelios Boutari from the well-known Kir Yianni brand.
In addition to Greek wines like Domaine Skouras, Tsantali, Boutari, Santo Wines from Santorini and Thalia Wines from Crete (to name only a few), several of the company’s wines from other Mediterranean regions like Spain and France will be available for tasting throughout the evening.
A mixologist will also be at the event creating cocktails from the company’s two spirit brands, Skinos Mastiha Spirit and Otto’s Athens Vermouth.
The fully-catered event will also include food tastings from various brands, including Dear Crete cookies, Meligyris honey, Santo foods from Santorini and other well-known brands of quality foods.
The Portfolio Tasting, according to Steve Kriaris, proprietor of the Kolonaki Group, is an opportunity to make both food industry professionals, as well as the general public aware of the fine products coming out of Greece and available on the marketplace.
