A new hit song in Israel featuring one of the country’s most popular artists has a refreshing Greek twist.
Headlined by Benaia Barabi, who was named the country’s “Discovery of the Year” in 2019, the singer welcomes Greek singer Glykeria, who adds her voice in both Hebrew and Greek lyrics.
In a Facebook post, the Israeli singer said Glykeria was on an airplane to Tel Aviv two days after hearing the song he proposed to her and the duo was in the studio recording it.
The song has gone viral with hundreds of thousands of views and streams across various platforms, is a love song alternating with Greek and Hebrew lyrics with Glykeria and Barabi.
