Promo videos are slowly being released– one for every candidate from each of the 50 United States vying for the Miss USA crown. The annual Miss USA pageant will be held June 5th in Las Vegas.
Today, via the Miss USA Facebook page, a two minute reel was released highlighting Miss Pennsylvania, Elena Laquatra.
In addition to telling the story of how she lost hearing in both her ears at the age of four and has overcome tremendous adversity– Elena let the world know one more time that… She’s Greek.
The Pittsburgh native— in less than two minutes— says the word Greek not once, not twice– but eight times to be exact. Watch the video below. We know who we will be rooting for on June 5th.
