Following an internal selection process by Greece’s national broadcaster, ERT, a teen-aged singer named Victor Vernicos has been chosen to represent the country in the wildly popular Eurovision Song Contest this year.
Vernicos’ song is called “What They Say” and hopes to captivate European listeners when the contest takes place in Liverpool, England the weekend of May 9-13.
Born in Athens to a Greek mother and Danish father, Victor is the youngest-ever singer selected by Greece to represent the country at the song contest.
