Pizza Hut is making its much-anticipated return to Greece under the management of PHC Group, a Cypriot company operating approximately 120 restaurants across Greece and Cyprus.
The first Pizza Hut is scheduled to open on December 20, 2024, in the downtown Athenian neighborhood of Pangrati, at the historic location of the former “Lenzos” café – the birthplace of the Greek frappe.
This revival marks a strategic expansion plan for PHC Group, led by Managing Director Konstantinos Doumis. According to Doumis, the company will pursue an “aggressive development plan,” opening a specific number of stores annually as part of its agreement with Yum! Brands, the parent company of Pizza Hut.
Headquartered in Cyprus, PHC Group is managed by entrepreneur Lysandros Ioannou and includes a portfolio of prominent international dining brands like Pizza Hut, Paul, Burger King, Jame’s Italian, Caffè Nero, Wagamama and others.
The company generates over €120 million in annual revenue and employs more than 3,000 staff in Greece and Cyprus.
