“Let it go, let it go,” this is the chorus sung by Chicago-born musician Paul Grosso in his first-ever music video shot in the city of Athens, which he released earlier this fall.
The artist, who grew up spending summers in Greece and performing in the streets alongside other musicians, says shooting the video fulfilled a “longtime dream” of his.
“About a year before doing this video, before I had even written this song, I had a vision of shooting a video in Athens,” Grosso told The Pappas Post. “I lived here for almost two years studying abroad and playing music and doing this video brought back so many incredible memories.”
Grosso sings and plays ukulele on this particular track, but his musical repertoire includes drumming, native American flute and didgeridoo, among other instruments. He releases music under the artist name Musical Mindset, which is a personal brand he created during COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns.
“Musical Mindset was an idea that came up after spending a lot of time at home and really thinking about where I was going in life,” Grosso says. “In recent years I’ve really gotten into music, meditation, mindfulness, health and wellness, and I wanted to create something that would incorporate all of those things.”
In addition to creating music, Grosso offers services such as one-on-one or group healing sessions and cacao ceremonies. He also plans wellness retreats in locations such as Greece and Costa Rica. For more information, visit his website.
