Greek Food Blogger Tassos Antoniou Debuts His Successful Cookbook in New York City

After very successful book launch events for Tasso Antoniou’s book “Για να μην ξαναπείς ποτέ Μαμά Πεινάω” (So you never have to say “Mom, I’m hungry” again) in Athens and in London, the third event of the series took place in New York City.

The event brought together several Greek companies providing drinks, bites, gift bags, and took place at the Soho Coco-Mat store in the heart of Manhattan.

In a very warm, welcoming, “Greek” atmosphere over 150 friends, readers and fans of his website honored the author with their presence.

Swiss Air was the official air travel sponsor. Other supporters included Souvlaki GR, Skinos Mastiha Spirit, Domaine Costas Lazaridis, mastihashop NY, Pi Greek Bakerie, The Kohas Agency, Terra Medi and of course Coco-Mat.

Although not commercially available for sale in the United States yet— Antoniou’s popular cookbook can be purchased from his website, MamaPeinao.gr.

Antoniou studied communications in school but his passion for food drove him to create his popular website, a platform dedicated to food culture.

He travels often, he is a columnist for magazines and a presenter for “New York City Bites” on Netwix and his own YouTube channel. His book, “So you never have to say ‘Mom, I’m hungry’ again” was awarded the best Greek cookbook in the «Best Easy Recipes Cookbook» category at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.
