The International Foundation for Greece (IFG) has partnered with the Hellenic Post (ELTA) to issue a series of commemorative stamps honoring its 2024 IFG Awards recipients.

This year’s distinguished Hellenes, celebrated in a ceremony at the Acropolis Museum are: Dr. George Miller, Director-Screenwriter-Producer; Dr. Demetri Porphyrios, Architect – Urban Planner, Visiting Professor at Yale University, Archon of the Ecumenical Patriarchate; Michael Psaros, Entrepreneur & Philanthropist, Co-Founder & Managing Partner of KPS Capital Partners LP, Archon Ostiarios of the Ecumenical Patriarchate; Dean A. Spanos, Entrepreneur & Philanthropist, Owner & Chairman of the Board, the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL), Chairman of the Board of The Spanos Corporation – Construction & Multi-Family Development Company.

The IFG Awards, presented every three years, honor Greek individuals living abroad “whose outstanding contributions serve to promote and invigorate the Hellenic spirit.” The commemorative stamp series will be available to the public at ELTA branches and through the Philotelismos online store.
