Santorini will add another luxury hotel to its growing list of high-end accommodations as Nobu announced plans to open a hotel and restaurant on the island.
The property, which is situated on the northeast coast of Santorini with a clifftop location in Imerovigli, will offer panoramic views of the Caldera and the Aegean Sea.
Scheduled to open in the spring, the boutique hotel will house a signature Nobu Restaurant, full-service spa, fitness facility, dual-level infinity pool and five luxurious pool villas.
Just a 10-minute drive to the coastal town of Oia and 20 minutes from Santorini’s airport, the hotel is positioned along the famed hiking trail that runs between Oia and Fira.

Trevor Horwell, chief executive of Nobu Hospitality, said the group was very excited to expand to Santorini and to work with the local community on the project.
“Santorini is one of the most highly regarded destinations in the world with its rare beauty, famed for its distinctive cuisine, whitewashed architecture set with a backdrop of steep cliffs and dramatic sunsets lighting the sea and sky,” Horwell said. “We look forward to inviting locals and international travelers alike to experience the Nobu lifestyle in this special destination.”
Nobu released a promotional video with visuals of the forthcoming hotel.
