Non-Stop Flights Between Los Angeles and Athens to Launch in June

Discount transatlantic airline Norse Atlantic will introduce service between Los Angeles and Athens in June.

The flight will commence on June 3 and operate four times per week flying Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft equipped with premium economy and economy cabins. According to the airline, the flight will run until September 29.

This is not the first Norse service connecting Athens and the United States. In May 2024, the airline launched nonstop direct flights from Athens to New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).

Bjørn Tore Larsen, CEO and founder of Norse Atlantic Airways said: “We’re thrilled to be launching a new route between Los Angeles and Athens this year. We expect the uptake to be positive as we offer this budget-friendly route, opening up more transatlantic options for our customers and the opportunity to explore the ancient city of Athens and rich history of Los Angeles. Our goal is to make travel accessible and affordable for everyone and this is another step in that mission and in our commitment to offer new destinations.”
