(Video) Greek Actress Claims Her No to Harvey Weinstein Cost Her a Career in Hollywood

Greek actress Vana Barba told an interviewer on Greek TV that her “no” to Harvey Weinstein cost her a career in Hollywood.

Barba played Vassilisa in the hit Italian film Meditarraneo, which won the Best Foreign Language Academy Award in 1992.

Barba said she was on a publicity tour for the film when a dinner with Weinstein was put on her schedule— without asking her.

She claims in the interview that she turned down the dinner, only to be told by her agent that she’d never work in Hollywood again.

She also remembers seeing Weinstein at Hollywood parties, calling him vulgar and disrespectful of those around him.
