Greek Gods Come to Contemporary Times on New Netflix Series Kaos

Streaming giant Netflix just dropped Kaos, yet another retelling of Ancient Greek mythology– this time in modern times.

The series follows God of the Gods Zeus, played by Jeff Goldblum, in a modern twist on the dysfunctional Ancient Greek deities, as paranoia overcomes him at the hint of his reign’s end.

Kaos casts a star-studded pantheon with Janet McTeer as Hera, David Thewlis as Hades, Cliff Curtis taking the trident of Poseidon, Stephen Dillane embodying Prometheus, Nabhaan Rizwan as Dionysus, and Rakie Ayola stepping into Persephone’s role.

Adding to the mythological richness, ‘Kaos’ features Debi Mazar as Medusa, who conceals her serpentine locks beneath a scarf, while Leila Farzads brother Glaucus, played by Fady Elsayed, is fleshed out from Greek lore as a man turned sea god through a mystical herb.

Now bring all of this intrigue, infighting and dysfunction to modern times.

Read more about Kaos here, which is streaming now.
