It’s the news everyone has been waiting for… That there will be a season two of the smash hot Greek television series which has captivated global audiences on Netflix.
Within a week of the series’ premier on Netflix, American and global audiences binge-watched the series written, directed and starred by Christophoros Papakaliatis about life on a quaint Greek island. It jumped to Netflix’s prestigious global top 10 list.
Both on his personal Instagram, as well as the TV series page, Papakaliatis teased his tens of thousands of followers with images from the first production meeting for Maestro in Blue’s second season, for Greek channel Mega, which is where the first season originally aired before being picked up by Netflix.
Of course, no official announcement from Netflix just yet on whether or not it will pick up the second season, but judging from the success of the first season, it’s pretty much a guarantee.
