Organizers are busy planning for the Crete Half Marathon and affiliated races that will take place on Sunday, October 4th in and around Arkalochori, near Heraklion.
The Half Marathon is a circle race in the center of Crete passing across some of the most picturesque villages of the municipality Minoa Pediadas. In addition to the Half Marathon, there are shorter races aiming to attract amateur runners and families, including a 10k, a 1k and a 5k run.
