You can still eat that grilled octopus you’ve been craving while watching the blue sea in front of you. And what’s even better, you won’t have to pay a small fortune to get to Greece.
Emirates is trying hard to promote its Newark to Athens year-round non-stop service that it inaugurated last March and is promoting Greece as a year-round destination. A new special discounted has some non-stop flights as low as $329 per person— with conditions.
But you have to act fast.
From now until September 22 at 11:59 p.m. EST, Emirates is selling non-stop, round-trip tickets to Athens from Newark Liberty International Airport that get cheaper with every additional person you travel with.
Groups of two to three passengers can find economy class tickets for $380. With four or more passengers, tickets are as cheap as $360 round-trip.
And according to searches that we conducted on the airline’s website, select dates could yield even lower savings. With a bit of searching, we found tickets to Athens for only $329 round-trip with ticket purchases of four or more.
Even if you still want to take a solo trip to Greece, Emirates’ fares are still steeply discounted. Until September 23, travelers can book individual tickets from Newark Liberty International Airport to Athens for $440 round-trip.
According to the airline, travel dates for economy class passengers are available between September 26 and December 18, or December 25 to March 30, 2018.
Travelers booking business class or first class fares (which start at $2,499 for groups of four or more) can travel as late as May 15, 2018.
To take advantage of the sale, all tickets must be purchased at the same time, on the same itinerary — meaning you will all have to travel to and return from Greece together. Give it a try and find your tickets here.
