The number one new boutique hotel in the world is in Greece, according to the World Boutique Hotel Awards that were held in London.

The Kensho Hotel in Mykonos won the award for the “World Best New Boutique Hotel” beating out about 150 hotels from throughout the world that were in the running.

The selection process took place by a team of judges who actually traveled the world, visiting the nominee hotels and rating them for various services and the overall guest experience.

Kensho Boutique Hotel & Suites is a 5-star hotel with 35 deluxe rooms which opened in 2016 and immediately became a model of modern architecture and luxury on the island of Mykonos.
